EB/ND – Brussels
Collaboration with the Fashion Designer Eric Beauduin – December 2015. A wall lamp created by Nathalie Dewez and Éric Beauduin presented on the walls of Eric’s house in Brussels. The purpose of this presentation is to break the walls between Design and Fashion, Accessories and Products. The result will be fastened on the wall : A wall lamp inspired by the work of both Designers. Very far from any leather lamps references, One speaks about transparency, the other about the workability of the leather. References to bag and fashion accessories remains, And now let’s make a lamp of it. A collaboration between an interior Designer and a fashion Designer. A feel good project’s mixing the Nathalie Dewez’s lines and architectural gestures and the tailor’s universe of Eric Beauduin focussed on clothes details, a source of light and retreated leather.
We both adapt ourselves to the other to create an unexpected result. Manipulation of the materials leads us to a definite positioning in space. A crossed product. A witness of the wealth of collaborations.
