HERMES Petit h Lighting

HERMES Petit h Lighting

BEADS Family – Presented at Hermès, 17 rue de Sèvres, Paris in December 2016. Limited serie of cristal lighting designed for Hermès Petit h. Unique pieces made from left-over cristal pieces coming from the Cristalleries of Saint-Louis. The collection gathers height lamps, four pendant and four table lamps. The concept of the collection reminds long necklaces made of glass pearls that would be hung in the space, like interior Jewels. That is why the names of the lamps make a reference to names of glass pearls. ‘Rosetta’ is a pearl made in Venice whereas ‘Toho’ or ‘Miyuki’ are Japanese glass pearls. ‘Bohemia’ reminds the very popular glass pearls from Bohème, ‘Shamballa’ is a type of crystal pearl, etc. The lamps are equipped with a central vertebral column of leds on which come to guzzle the crystal elements. Each of them are blocked independently on the central axis to prevent them from pressing one on the others. All the lamps are provided with dimmer.
